We have some fun activities planned for the school holidays.
Treasure Hunts
Hunt for gold in our very own Gold Field! If you’re successful, trade in your gold for prizes.
How sharp are your eyes? Are you good at picking out details? Take our collection of photos of the Karri Walk and see if you can find the places where we took them. Recreate the photos to win a prize!
Toasted Marshmallows
We’ll light up a fire so you can get all warm and cosy and toast some marshmallows.
Can you imagine how much fun that will be on a cool winter’s night?
Night Time Spotlighting Adventure
Take a walk with us through the forest at night – if you are very quiet you might see animals that you won’t see in the day time.
Bring the torch from your chalet, and wear a warm hat and coat (and gloves and scarf if you have them).
Beginner’s Golf
Did you know there’s a 9 hole golf course at Tanah Marah? It’s a little bit rough in some places but it’s a lot of fun and it’s the perfect place for beginners to have a hit.
You don’t have to pay any extra to use our golf course, and you don’t even need to have your own clubs because we have some you can use.
Bigger kids especially love this activity.
Sheep Feeding
Our white dorper sheep always think they’re starving and love being fed pellets.
Our orphan calf Coco-Mooranda will be following closely behind!
Games on the Lawn
We have a lovely big lawn where you can play all sorts of games.
We have boules (also known as bocce or petanque), croquet, badminton, FINSKA and Kubb.
You can also bring your own games to play.
If you think you are pretty speedy ask us about racing Lucy on the lawn mower. The dogs will want to join in too!
Join us for school holidays
We’re fully booked for the July 2020 School Holidays, but there is still some availability for school holidays later in the year.
Book a chalet for your Margaret River family school holiday getaway.
