Pick n’ Sip – Experiencing Margaret River like a Winemaker

We were delighted to host the Earn Your Vino group during their Pick n’ Sip experience in February. This group enjoyed their stay at Tanah Marah with four days of immersive winemaking experiences, complete with catering by an award winning chef and private transfers throughout their stay.
The Earn Your Vino group began their journey with our ‘Welcome to Tanah Marah – Getaway to our Everyday’ experience. The tour starts with a ‘Rory’s Rambles’ through our surrounding bushland, sharing all the hidden wonders of our property. Next stop was a successful attempt at pulling marron from our lake. Of course after catching marron, it’s time to enjoy them! Lastly, a stroll through the Karri forest to find your personalised picnic. After an afternoon of wandering, our group was rewarded with a feast of delicious local produce.

After their first day of fueling up on local goodies, everyone was well prepared for the next two days of hands on winemaking lessons with LS Merchants. They were lucky enough to learn all about the process from vineyard to bottle with a delicious reward at the end.
During their stay, the group also enjoyed a private lunch at Glenarty Road with the owners and explored the Margaret River Region with the team from Margaret River Mountain Bike Tours. Of course, there was plenty of time to relax and enjoy great wine too, as well as lazy sun-drenched vintage lunches amongst the vines or lakeside at Tanah Marah.
